How long is my warranty?

TuffRide Suspension carries a 2‑year (24‑month) warranty on all parts and workmanship.

This warranty can be extended to a total of 5 years or 100,000km by registering your suspension.

How can I make my caravan more stable when towing?

Check the following on your caravan:

  • Towball weight is within specifications
  • Caravan chassis is level to the ground
  • Shock absorber bolts are tightened to 75Nm
  • Wheel alignment is within specification
  • Tyre pressures are correct
  • Caravan ride height is correct (airbag applications)

How can I identify if my suspension ‘Airbag Ready’?

The easiest way to identify this is by comparing the photo with the Top Coil Plate that is welded onto your chassis.

  1. If you have a square plate, you have a Coil Only Suspension.
  2. If there is a rounded section pointing towards your shock absorbers, then you have an Airbag Ready Suspension.

What height should I tow my Caravan at with Airbags installed?

The airbag length should be:

250mm ± 25mm, measured from the top to the bottom of the airbag.

How much pressure should I have in my Caravan airbags?

As a general rule:

Tandem Axle: 50–80 PSI (Do not exceed 100 PSI)

Single Axle: 70–100 PSI (Do not exceed 130 PSI)
